COURSE OVERVIEW
Our Level 2 Gym Instructor course combines structured theoretical learning with practical application to prepare you for work in a gym environment. You’ll develop the knowledge and confidence to plan, deliver, and evaluate gym-based exercise programmes, supporting clients across a wide range of abilities.
Modules Covered:
- Motivating Individuals and Groups
- Planning and Instructing Gym-Based Exercise
- Human Anatomy and Physiology
- Principles of Exercise, Fitness, and Health
- Health, Safety, and Welfare in a Fitness Environment
- Understanding the Fitness Business
Course Length:
Study at your own pace, with most learners completing the course in approximately 6–8 weeks.
Final Exam/In Person Practical:
You can book your final in-person assessment in advance through our bookings page, allowing you to choose a date that suits your schedule. Study at your own pace, with the final assessment held at our state-of-the-art facility, Fitness Éire, in Dunmanway, West Cork.
Entry Requirements:
No prior qualifications required. Learners must be 16 years or older and have an interest in fitness and physical activity.
Accreditation:
CIMSPA-endorsed and Ofqual-regulated qualification.
